Arthur C. Berg, the originator of Berg's Bar B-Q mix created
this superb blend while operating a mom and pop cafe in Bagley, Minnesota in 1940.
7 years later he gave in to customer demand and marketed the specialty blend in grocery
stores through out the midwest
After Arthur's death in 1983, his son, Ray,
took his dad's motto to heart, "We mix the spices--You mix the sauce."
Ray developed 3 new products to add to the original mix:
