Christopher Hutton is a Grand Forks County Deputy Sheriff who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in July.  Due to injuries sustained in the crash, Chris's foot was amputated.

Chris is also a member of the North Dakota National Guard and was activated twice to serve.  His last activation was for 18 months which included a year in Iraq with the 188 ADA.

The benefit ride will take place on Saturday, September 23rd.
The ride begins at the south lot of Altru located between 14th Avenue South, and Knight Drive, west of Columbia Road at 1:00 p.m.
We will leave the staging area at 2:00 p.m. and ride west to Larimore, south to Northwood, and end up in Thompson.

In Thompson, we will meet for a free will, picnic-style dinner served by the Thompson Fire Department, and the Thompson American Legion Post.

This event is open to the public.
