The Immanuel Lutheran Church is located on Main Street East in Hendrum. Along with a number of churches of various denominations in neighboring towns, Immanuel serves the area well. Volunteers run a Community Food Shelf, and the church shares its space for various purposes, such as dance classes, piano lessons, and various school-related needs.
