A Time for CHOICES: Making funeral arrangements can be overwhelming, and grief is numbing. When a death occurs there are over 50 difficult decisions to be made within approximately 24 hours. The ultimate gift to those we leave behind is to make our wishes known, in writing.
A session will be scheduled to answer your questions and help you prepare to plan a Catholic funeral for yourself or a loved one. We will give you the materials needed for planning and answer questions such as:
^ What does the Catholic Church teach about Cremation?
^ Can I have a Funeral Mass for a non-Catholic spouse or someone not baptized?
^ What does the parish provide my family and me for lunch/meals?
^ What music choices do I have for the Funeral or Wake? Can I use secular music?
^ Does “everyone” need to have a Wake, Rosary, Prayer Vigil, and/or Funeral Mass?
