St. Michael's High School Youth Group have worked over a year to raise funds to attend World
Youth Day in Paris with Pope John Paul and hundreds of thousands of youth from around the world.
The youth group and their families have held Fall dinners, car washes, bake sales and cleaned stadiums and hockey arenas at the University of North Dakota.
Then the disastrous flood hit, and it looks like our chances to continue our fund raising efforts have been literally washed away. our families are busy cleaning and repairing their homes as well as resuming their jobs if there jobs are still available. This is a chance of a lifetime for our Youth and we have worked so very hard. We must have help from caring individuals outside of our area that are interested in supporting our Catholic Youth in their goal to attend World Youth Day.
